How do I extract every rupee?

Plays grounded in this card's specific levers. Updated each time IndusInd Bank tweaks the program.

01

Push dining and shopping into weekends

Base spend earns 4 RP/₹100 (3% at ₹0.75/point). Shifting retail to weekends or your birthday window lifts the rate to 6 RP/₹100 — a 4.5% effective return, 50% richer than weekday earn on identical spend.

02

Clear ₹10 lakh to waive the ₹11,800 fee

Annual retail spend of ₹10 lakh erases the ₹10,000 (₹11,800 with GST) renewal fee and, at the 3% base, also banks ₹30,000 in reward value — so the card self-funds once you cross the waiver line.

03

Stack the 30-day welcome with weekend timing

Hit ₹1 lakh inside 30 days of issuance for 5,000 bonus RP (₹3,750 at ₹0.75/point). Run that ₹1 lakh across two weekends and you also bank 6,000 base RP at the 6x rate — ₹4,500 on top of the bonus.

04

Redeem only at ₹0.75 per point

Both statement credit and the IndusInd Rewards Portal clear at 1 RP = ₹0.75 with a ₹1,000 minimum (≈1,334 points). Skip any lower-value redemption path — the headline 3% and weekend 4.5% rates only hold when you cash out at ₹0.75.

05

Route utilities and fuel to another card

Utilities, insurance, government and rent drop to 0.7 RP/₹100 (0.525%), and fuel is excluded entirely — only a 1% surcharge waiver up to ₹1,000/month applies. Park those on a flat-cashback card so Solitaire stays on the 3%/4.5% tracks.

07 FAQ

Common questions

The Solitaire carries a ₹30,000 joining fee (₹35,400 with GST) and a ₹10,000 annual fee from year 2 (₹11,800 with GST). The annual fee is waived if you spend ₹10 lakh on retail in the prior year. Below that threshold, plan to pay ₹11,800 every renewal.
